Student journalist to cover Concordia International event

We are seeking a student journalist to cover the “Collaborating with the European Union under a New Context” event held by Concordia International.
Objectives: The purpose of this event is to inspire collaborations between Canada and European institutions by promoting research opportunities for researchers and faculty members and creating a space for networking
Deliverable: We would like someone to write a report (2-4 pgs) on the event with specific focus on: a) Overview of the event b) Summary of the panel discussions c) Advice provided by the panelists d) Interactions during the Q&A section e) Programs and funding offered by the organizations participating
This report will then be used to make a brochure that will be distributed to people who attended the event. We are working with UCS on the brochure, but we need someone who can attend the event and write a report as UCS is unavailable.
The event is on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019 from 10:00a.m – 2:00p.m, and we would like the report from the journalist submitted by December 10th, 2019 at the latest.
The event will take place in the Concordia Conference Centre (MB 9th floor)
Requirements: – Someone who has experience writing reports – Preferably someone who has knowledge on the EU and the research landscape
Compensation: the student will be paid a total of $150.00 for their work on this project.
