Description: The Communications Intern is a strong writer who is comfortable with social media and making video content. You will write regular updates and maintain content for our internal website. Web content management training will be provided. You will shoot and edit videos under the guidance of a seasoned professional. Videography training will be provided. You will write content for the weekly electronic newsletter, as well as a range of other content for internal and external audiences. You will work alongside the Director of Corporate Affairs. Your French language skills will be tapped occasionally to review and proofread text. You will play a key role in supporting a new national communications and engagement strategy.

• Full-time work, 40 hours per week.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Proficiency with social media (Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Linked In and Instagram)
• Videography – shooting and basic editing
• Must have strong communication skills and be able to work independently
• Bilingual
• Flexible start and end dates
• Tele-work with regular weekly meetings in Ottawa or Montreal
• Some travel within Canada
