CTV Montreal is accepting applications for internships from journalism and communications students doing an internship for school credit.

The internships are unpaid, and depending on your course requirement, usually last 160 hours.

These internships are best done over a period of 4 weeks in the spring and summer, but in some cases part-time internships over a longer time period can be considered.

CTV Montreal is Quebec’s leading English-language television station, covering a wide range of local, provincial, federal and international news stories.

What To Expect: Interns will learn about the overall newsgathering operation. They will research and develop stories, and chase and book guests. They will have a chance to shadow journalists, camera operators and editors, and towards the end of the internship have the opportunity to produce at least one demo news story, based on their own research.
