Editorial intern, Maisonneuve magazine

Maisonneuve magazine, an English-language quarterly magazine based in Montreal, is looking for a part-time intern with a passion for magazine journalism to work with us this semester.

Maisonneuve interns are primarily responsible for fact-checking, but they also frequently write for the magazine, participate in other parts of production and help organize events. A full job description can be found here:

Because of staffing changes, we’re planning to hire someone for a shorter term than usual, to fill a gap on our current issue. Internships usually last through two issues of the magazine, or six months, but this candidate would start immediately and work only until December. (They would also have the option of applying for a full subsequent term, starting a regular six-month internship in January.)

This will also be a less formal application process than usual. Interested students should send a resume and quick introductory email to selena@maisonneuve.org, but no need for a full cover letter.
