Description: VR World is looking to find a couple of strong Anglophone journalists for a news website that primarily focuses on virtual reality, but also covers augmented reality, mixed reality, artificial intelligence, VR-specific hardware/software, mobile and entertainment stories (VR in movies/gaming).

Position Requirements: We are looking for quick-learning and dedicated journalists who can not only produce fresh, engaging and well-worded content, but who are able to contribute regularly (up to multiple times per day).

At this point we are set to publish stories up to 350-400 words each at the rate that we’d both be happy with. Should our work together be successful, there is definitely room for growth as we’d look to transition selected writers to higher-rate feature writers positions.

– Journalism major is a major plus.
– Experience working in a news room and/or agency is a plus.
– Available for frequent contributions (Monday-Friday) and occasional weekends.
– Personal interest and/or experience in the subject matter is a plus.

Send an email to artashes (at) and briefly introduce yourself. Attach your resume and at least 5 most recently published technology-related stories (You can link to them instead). If you don’t have a published technology story, submit a 250-word news piece sample related to VR industry along with your application.
Cover letters aren’t necessary.
